hey!!!! im back from ophir le...
got back on fri
its a wonderful & gd learning experience for me
its my first trip as a clt to ophir
it turn out to be quite enjoyable
except for a few rascal that spoils it
after this trip i can confirm something
clts are really like nanny
coz the cadets ask us for practically evrything
"sir...u have any extra food?"
"sir...u have battery?"
"sir...u have extra chocolate?"...etc
we were blessed with gd luck for this trip too
its sunny throughout the climb
it only rained a tiny bit at the base camp
for a short while nia
no serious injuries except for some cuts
i got myself some cuts when i fell down during the descend
jus didnt concentrate for a while jiu fall down le
i fell sick on the last day also
had a sore throat & caught a little cold i think
this trip also proves something
clts & teacher officers can work well together
we manage to work real well together
we share food...crack jokes...make fun of each other etc
we were open to each other
it makes our job easier
the coincidental thing is...
one of the teacher officer...cpt tan
hes the teacher with me & kh to ophir 3 years ago
when i was a cadet =)
no wonder i find him familiar
the medic is a nice guy too
we shared lots of fun...jokes etc
something ling yi happen durin the nite on the mount
some guys & a gal claim they saw something
the gal was freaked out
i was kinda afraid too...but no choice
as a clt i shldnt show my fear
the gal is from my platoon...have to check on her
so syamil, mr siraj & me were practically busy with that
syamil & mr siraj did some prayers...i jus stood there
i know its stupid la
but i dont know chinese prayers work mah...so yah
the nites pass by quite peacefully with not much scare la
except for some incident my cadets told me
have to thank my platoon alpha also
all of them are kranji sec except 2 tanglin gals
they are a great bunch of cadets
they are lively & never fails to lift my spirit
at some stage they even encourage me
they had great team work... great character
its really my blessing to be their pc for the trip
its really a mixture of feelings for this trip
there are certain part durin the climb that i really feel like giving up
was tired & perspiring like mad
the exhaustion & fatigue...
i will never forget it
thanx to the rest of the clts, teachers, mdm chan & the medic jeremy
i will never forget the heart warming things they do
god bless evryone!!!
anyway last sat we went for the ncc dinner in hq
collected our award durin the dinner
our ncc unit is 2nd in national!!!!!
we are best in west also.
